Afternoon Boredom Club Shoreham
The Afternoon Boredom Club is a creative family meet-up designed for the whole family to enjoy together.
A relaxed space for parents to meet other parents, while children dive into simple, communal activities. Designed to be enjoyed as much by grown-ups as little ones - with a chilled vibe and loads of opportunities for honest and open chats with other parents.
Expect simple crafts, building blocks, colouring and games for the kids - and some glorious co-parenting, chatting and creating for the adults.
A Honey House favourite - like chilling out with friends but with loads of other cool people and someone to curate the activities - so basically 10x better.

Finish your week with us at the Duke of Wellington pub for an evening that’s all about connection and unwinding. Over a glass of wine or some pub chips, enjoy the sounds of brilliant Belgian musicians while you relax and recharge.
This is a chance to meet other like-minded mums, share stories, laugh, and feel part of a supportive, fun community.
Whether you’re looking to grow your village, find new friendships, or take a well-earned break, this Honey House gathering is your space to chill out and have some fun.

Maternal Journal Shoreham
From scrapbooking to poetry, Maternal Journal is a beautiful way to process your feelings about pregnancy and motherhood - with a community of other mothers who will soon become friends.
Maternal Journal is a global community movement and one of our favourite Honey House events.
Launched in 2017 by a midwife and artist as a place for new parents to put their emotions and experiences and brings creativity and connection to new mothers.
This group is incredibly special - some might call it magical and a brilliant space for pregnant and postpartum mothers (babies welcome up to 18 months ish).
"I wish I had found this group when my son was younger. The women are incredibly warm, and it feels like a space where you can just be yourself - enjoying good chats, creativity and delicious pastries." Becky
"Tuesday is fast becoming my favourite day of the week, there's something so nurturing about colouring away with coffee and real conversations about real things. There’s zero pressure and total acceptance, I leave feeling like I’ve had a big hug." Marie
"Pastry in one hand and iced coffee in the other, chatting and getting creative with a gorgeous group of mamas! Maternal Journal is my Tuesday morning therapy. It’s like a little family. I am totally loving this through pregnancy and postpartum." Sarah
“Love Maternal Journal so much. More help to me with postnatal depression than health services!” L
“Maternal Journal is a creative thing for me and great to be able to connect with others over it too.” Steph

We All Need a Walk
Join us for our We All Need a Walk community family stroll on Shoreham Beach – a relaxed, family-friendly meet-up for mums, dads, little ones, and anyone who fancies some fresh sea air. We’ll gather outside La Patisserie, grab an optional warm drink, and enjoy a gentle walk together along the seafront before looping back.
This is all a great chance to meet other families – come as you are, bring the kids, the buggy, or even the dog, and enjoy the chance to meet other local families in a welcoming, supportive atmosphere. Fresh air, friendly chats, and a reminder that parenting is much more fun with a village.

Baby Book Club
Join us for intimate, creative, laid-back meet-ups designed for modern mums seeking genuine connection - not another depleting baby group.
Hosted by Chapter 34's resident bookworm Samira with Honey House's Rachel Eyre, we'll be exploring Holly McNish's Nobody Told Me—a brilliant collection of stories and poems about raising a child in modern Britain. Raw, honest, and often hilarious, it's the perfect read for new parents navigating those first twelve months.
For mums with babies aged 0-12 months who want conversation that goes beyond sleep schedules (though we'll probably talk about that too).
Purchase the book through Chapter 34 and receive a discount. Places limited to keep things cosy.
