Not your average sing-along & soft play

Honey House Club

Somewhere between baby group, therapy session and art class, our family meet-ups are designed to combat parent loneliness and overwhelm, and help parents find joy amongst the chaos.

A way to find your village, fill up your cup and feel inspired, Honey House runs weekly events along the Sussex coast in Worthing and Brighton & Hove.

  • The Afternoon Boredom Club is a creative family meet-up designed for the whole family to enjoy together. Perfect for parents with children aged 0-5.

What makes the Afternoon Boredom Club different?

First up – it’s designed with both small people AND big people in mind. It’s simple, family-centric and chilled. Expect lego, colourful magnets for little hands, and simple crafts like painting, colouring, sticking and making.

These aren't structured activities – they're open invitations to play, explore and create together. While children dive into simple, communal activities, parents get some proper time to chat, meet new pals and (hopefully) relax a bit.

There’s proper drinks too. Wine, beer, cider, lemonade, apple juice and chips are all part of the experience at the Afternoon Boredom Club. If you’re looking for a kids event you’ll actually enjoy, the ABC is for you.

  • Maternal Journal is a global community movement and one of our most popular Honey House events.

    How does it work?
Launched in 2017 by a midwife and artist this is a place for new parents to put their emotions and experiences and bring creativity and connection to new mothers.

From scrapbooking to poetry and painting – all designed to fit in with the busy life of a parent – it’s a beautiful way to process your feelings about pregnancy and motherhood.

This group is incredibly special (some call it magical!) and a brilliant space for pregnant and postpartum mothers (babies welcome up to 18 months-ish).

    Pastries included!

"I wish I had found this group when my son was younger. The women are incredibly warm, and it feels like a space where you can just be yourself - enjoying good chats, creativity and delicious pastries." Becky

Join us every Tuesday morning at Gail's, Worthing!

  • Join us for Mother Cuppa, a gentle, low-pressure gathering in a space for parents to connect, chat, and exhale while little ones craft, play, and explore freely. No agenda, no rush, just warm company, creative play, and a slow start to the day. For little ones aged 18 months to 5 years – though babies are always welcome too!

  • Come along for a winter warmer walk ( & optional sauna) with us. Coffee at La Dolce Vita on the pier, casual stroll (bring your dry robe in case of rain) and optional sauna afterwards.

    This walk is:
✨ Open to mums in all seasons with kids aged 0+
✨Ideally this event is just for you! It’s a great chance to ask your partner, a friend or a grandparent to look after little one for an hour or so and get some much needed ‘me-time’. If you can time the walk with a nap, under 1’s are welcome in prams/slings - but if you can - GET SOME SOLO TIME IN.

  • A 45 minute yoga session followed by a chat over a coffee / breakfast upstairs. For mums in all seasons.

Designed to lift you up and make you feel good! A decent-paced flow starting slow, working up through some sun salutations and then coming down to earth again for some balancing and breathwork.

Yoga can be done by EVERY BODY. It is your interpretation of my guidance - if it doesn't feel good don't do it. But it can be nice to drift off, just listen to my voice and let your mind switch off for a moment. I came to yoga for the mindfulness and magic and I hope my interpretation of this 2000+ year old practice will bring you some peace and joy. There will be no handstands, or party tricks. You got this!

Parents are not an afterthought

This is not a ‘parents sit on the sidelines watching kids jump into ballpits and dreaming of their old life’ vibe. Events are designed for parents AND little people.
