Honey House creative, family-centric community events are designed for modern, fun parents who want more than nursery rhymes and church halls.

Honey House Club / IRL Meet-ups

How It Works:

  • Small Groups, Big Impact:
Each meet-up is capped at 10–12 families, so you can actually get to know people and feel at ease.

  • For All Caregivers and All Kids (0–7+): Whether you’re a mum, dad, grandparent, or carer, you’re welcome. Bring the whole crew.

  • Zero Pressure, All Welcome:
No need to perform or pretend. Come as you are - messy hair, tired eyes, and all.

  • Events with Heart:
From Afternoon Boredom Club to Maternal Journal and Waste Not Wednesdays, our meet-ups create a family-centric space where parents have as much fun as little ones. Simple, energising, welcoming, connection. The perfect low-key relaxed space for you and your little family.

  • The Afternoon Boredom Club is a creative family meet-up designed for the whole family to enjoy together. Perfect for parents with children aged 0-5.

What makes the Afternoon Boredom Club different?

First up - it’s designed with both small people AND big people in mind. It’s simple, family-centric and chilled.

Expect lego, colourful magnets for little hands - and simple crafts like painting, colouring, sticking and making.

These aren't structured activities - they're open invitations to play, explore and create together.

While children dive into simple, communal activities, parents get some proper time to chat, meet new pals and (hopefully) relax a bit. There’s proper drinks too. Wine, beer, cider, lemonade, apple juice and chips are all part of the experience at the Afternoon Boredom Club. If you’re looking for a kids event you’ll actually enjoy, the ABC is for you.

  • Maternal Journal is a global community movement and one of our most popular Honey House events.

Launched in 2017 by a midwife and artist as a place for new parents to put their emotions and experiences and brings creativity and connection to new mothers.

From scrapbooking to poetry and painting – all designed to fit in with the busy life of a parent - it’s a beautiful way to process your feelings about pregnancy and motherhood.

This group is incredibly special - some call it magical and a brilliant space for pregnant and postpartum mothers (babies welcome up to 18 months ish).

    Pastries 🥐 included!

"I wish I had found this group when my son was younger. The women are incredibly warm, and it feels like a space where you can just be yourself - enjoying good chats, creativity and delicious pastries." Becky

"Tuesday is fast becoming my favourite day of the week, there's something so nurturing about colouring away with coffee and real conversations about real things. There’s zero pressure and total acceptance, I leave feeling like I’ve had a big hug." Marie

"Pastry in one hand and iced coffee in the other, chatting and getting creative with a gorgeous group of mamas! Maternal Journal is my Tuesday morning therapy. It’s like a little family. I am totally loving this through pregnancy and postpartum." Sarah

“Love Maternal Journal so much. More help to me with postnatal depression than health services!” L

“Maternal Journal is a creative thing for me and great to be able to connect with others over it too.” Steph

Join us every Tuesday morning at Gail's, Worthing!

  • Join us for Waste Not Wednesdays, a hands-on, eco-friendly event designed especially for children aged 18 months to 5 years - though babies are always welcome too!

Together, we’ll dive into the magical world of creative reuse, transforming everyday recyclable materials like egg cartons, cardboard, newspapers, pens, and pencils into imaginative crafts, playful art, and simple DIY toys. Each session is full of sensory-friendly fun, fostering curiosity, creativity, and care for our planet in the youngest minds.

Whether we’re building cardboard castles, making newspaper hats, or turning egg cartons into bugs and boats, you and your child will love getting creative in a fun, sustainable way.

    Why you'll love it:
👶 Inclusive and relaxed for all ages (even the tiniest recyclers!)
👪 A friendly, welcoming space for families to connect and parents to have fun

So bring your recyclables, roll up your sleeves, and come play, learn, and create from waste with us.

  • Our monthly community stroll along Worthing Promenade bringing together all of our Honey House Worthing members.

Because we all feel better after a stroll, some sea air and a good honest chat.

We’ll meet at La Dolce Vita to grab an (optional) warm drink, wander along the promenade to the pirate playground, and loop back - with space to vent, laugh, connect or just switch off.

No expectations. No small talk (unless you want it). No pretending you’re fine if you’re not. Just real connection, fresh air, and a reminder that you’re not alone.
